I recently finished reading the contemporary romance novel, Get a Life, Chloe Brown (The Brown Sisters, #1). This is the second novel by Talia Hibbert that I’ve read and have enjoyed, even more than Operation Atonement. The character, Chloe Brown is kind of a mess. She is cold and reclusive, as she lives with fibromyalgia and chronic pain in a town in Great Britain. A lot of how she behaves stems from how she has been treated by friends and her other relationships.
Enter Redford, aka Red Morgan, the superintendent of her apartment building, aka flat., whose hair has a life of its own. That’s all I’ll say about him. Her family members are very funny, especially her sisters and grandmother, aka, Gigi.
This story had everything-sarcastic humor, sadness, and excitement. I am always thoroughly entertained while reading Ms. Hibbert’s books and look forward to the next book in the Brown sisters’ series.
Great blog
Thanks.
